Okay. It seems the world is Jermaine Pennant's oyster at this precise moment. After the overtures from Real Madrid last week there are rumours that AC Milan are after the jailbird winger.

If you were in his funny coloured boots where would you go? This is your chance to be Jermaine Pennant so slacken your jaw, let your tongue fall loosely on your lower lip (slightly to the right) and gaze vacantly at the options which confront you......oh the agony of choice.

Vote now.

I would prove that I was worth my place in the Liverpool side by going on loan at a slightly smaller club, which is going places...

... yes I would come and be a part of the Adams' revolution at Brighton.

(failing that, Real Madrid is nice and sunny, innit)

The world has officially 'gone mad'.

Good enough for Hull, Wigan, etc. Can't imagine what the big clubs are thinking.

What would be the point? Adams would just leave him on the bench, while Fraser and Virgo played on the wings...

Jermaine Pennant is exactly the sort of footballer who winds people up immensely.

You can grudgingly accept that the likes of Steven Gerrard, Robinho, Kaka, Wayne Rooney etc justify their salary by their performances- supply vs demand economics etc.

But Jermaine Pennant has rarely done anything to justify his vast wages, yet clubs still seem to be flocking to sign him up and pay him even more. That's what grates with most people- average footballers earning incomprehensible sums of money for doing absolutely chuff all (unless you count shagging brain-dead, scantily clad groupies, posing your way around poncy nightclubs or crashing your expensive car whilst pissed).

How soon is now?
I read last week that Real Madrid had approached his agent, but it would mean a massive wage drop, what massive would actually entail wasn't disclosed. I guess he has to pay for a chauffeur - in't banned from driving for about 5 years? I'd go to Madrid, f*** it its a lovely city and the people there are really nice too. I can't imagine that money really is a problem for him..

Not sure he should go abroad really. I believe he had a pretty rough upbringing, and left school unable to read and write properly, so playing abroad and trying to learn another language would probably not be for the best.

I read that is was not a pay DROP he would have to take, rather ONLY get the same wages he is on at Liverpool, rumoured to be £30k a week. He wanted £60k a week to go to Madrid.

Right here, right now
He's done absolutely nothing at Liverpool so I would think they are more than happy for him to go so they can spent the money on someone who does give a damn.
