Yet another reason to hate Tinker Taylor

Hoddle confessed it had been a long haul to get the striker first recommended to him by former Albion manager and Spurs winger Peter Taylor.

You bastard Taylor!!!

First you start the rot by the above.

and then you really rub it in by leaving us with David Lee

Hoddle obviously didn't trust Taylor too much given that he personally went and watched BZ at least six or seven times last season.

If we don't get promoted next season you'll get to be able to abuse him all you want the following year. He has assembled a team at Hull that must be the clearest favourites in all 4 divisions.

Personally don't have a problem with him. If DK had pulled his finger out when PT quit last year we'd have had a better replacement in SC two weeks later. PT left because he accepted he couldn't keep us in Div 1 on the budget. The ensuing cock up is my one serious gripe with DK.

They were favourites last year aswell though, Icy. I think Taylor's natural instincts are a little too defensive for them to be a shoo-in for the title.

Would like to see them do well though - for the Hull fans, if not for Taylor.

Finished a mighty 13th last season. He'l need to produce the goods or he'll be swimming in the Humber before long.:shit:

8 Jamie Forrester
9 Ben Burgess
10 Danny Allsopp

With that strike force they'll walk the division

In fact I'd settle for Burgess and Allsopp to lead our forward line
the way it looks at the moment :(

That was his excuse. The real reason was to do with the assistant England manager's job which didn't materialise in the summer after the World Cup like he thought it would.

I have had this confirmed by someone in the know too. Even once he had accepted the Hull job and the post then came up a couple of weeks later he put his name up for it.

I admit Hull have a very good side, but I still didn’t think they will have it all their own way. Northampton have also brought well this pre season.

As for Taylor’s transfer legacy at the Albion – the less said the better.

Always been a Taylor fan and always will be. He left because he had no choice.
He's bringing his team up....I just hope we will be going up ahead of them
