I was unable to get a ticket for the Brighton end yesterday, so ended up paying a fortune for two tickets in the Upper East stand.

I've got to say that the support in both numbers and volume, made me proud to be an Albion fan. All the comments I heard from the Spurs fans were great. I don't think they realised what a "big club" Brighton are.

And when Kuipers made that save in the second half, they could not believe it. From where I was sitting it was going in, and then the flying dutchman tipped it around the post.

It was nice at the end to see all the Spurs fans that were left applauding our boys off the pitch.

And hats of to the two young kids, probably 5 or 6 years old, who had their Seagull shirts on sitting just of front of me. THeir celebrations when Chippy scored were a bit more vocal than mine, so took the attention away from me and may have saved my life!!!

All in all a great day.
