Does anybody know how far the station is from the ground? And what is the quickest way to get back to the station after the game?

All I can say is GOOD Luck and may the frce be with you x

Station is a LONG LONG way from the ground. There is no direct bus, you have to get a bus to town, and a bus from town to ground. About an hour.
The buses are 30 seaters, and run one an hour

The official website says use TAXIS but there are only 4 in the whole town that operate on a Saturday

use google maps... it has car routes, walking routes and even public transport.

Christ, that is a treck.
Glad i'm not going now - although those that are, might be worth ringing the local cab firms in advance?

yes, its a nightmare by train and if you drive it will take hours to get out the car parking areas. best try and park in a road around where the dot is (which is also the nearest pub is i beleieve)

I drove before and ended up giving a Yeovil fan a lift from the centre of town, I would have strugged to find it without his live directions. Its on an industrial estate end he showed me a nifty place to park opposite the Screwfit offices.

I like the ground, open away end aside, its small and very conference looking feel about it.

we had that problem last year, one the one 30 seater bus an hour left the town centre to get the 18.20

It left town at 18.10, but there were well over 100 people at the bus stop.
This then cause carnage as many people realised they wouldnt fit on the bus.

One guy lay in front of the bus to stop it leaving, luckily another bus on another route saw the carnage and drove the remaining passengers on the road even though it wasnt on his route

Probably won't be too bad a walk, decent forecast tommorow. Can pop into a pub half way back, to break up the journey, and aim to catch the 1920 to Clappers

I really wouldn't recommend walking it, its rural country roads from the station to the town center. Bit like ditchling beacon.

Yes it sounds it! We've driven up twice before, and once parked in a road and got away quickly, which is probably what we'll try and do this time. I'd rather get the train but doesn't seem an option now..
