Yeovil are a lovely club and I would have said that if they'd have won as well. Good luck to them always!

Yeovil goalkeeper (ex Sparta Prague and West Ham) young and out of contract at the end of the season..........could be a good shout (Jones has influence at Yeovil) should the PIG move on.

Not really comfortable with signing a goalkeeper from the side at the bottom of the table if i'm honest

It was faintly amusing as there were a few seconds before they realised the applause was actually for them. They played well, fought to the end, and with a striker could have got something from the game.

I thought it was a tad generous. They threw the towel in when we scored. If we had of gone down in that manner I would have been livid

To be fair Jimmy, I think that once we went ahead late in the game it must have been difficult for them. The only chance of survival for them was to win. All the time it was 0-0 they had the hope of a breakaway saving them. But suddenly realising you need to score twice might have been a tad overwhelming. :)

For some reason they're the only fans I've ever clapped when the attendance was read out. Good turn out considering the journey, they're position and the size of the club. They made better noise than half the other teams that have come to us.

Found it quite emotional if I'm honest. Wasn't long ago we were a team struggling against all odds to stay in the championship with very limited funds due to the Withdean factor.

Marvellous scenes.

Glad I wasn't the only one - just shows the sheer class of the Albion. But fair play to Yeovil - they gave it there all and there fans were absolutely terrific last night

There's a clip of the applause as the players walked off via YT's official twitter account >>

Going to be a long long time before they are in the Championship again.

Decent players will leave (mostly defenders Webster and Ayling plus Duffy goes back to Everton - prob to be sold to a Champ team. He was immense tonight. Their best player by far) and they haven't got much of a squad.

Ayling was the best player I've ever seen at the Amex. Bar no one. Tremendous name

Haha same here! I also thought it was a nice touch applauding them off the pitch last night. Like Yeovil a lot.

Always pleased to applaud a club like Yeovil after their immense acheivement of even reaching the Championship, let alone performing well taking some memorable victories.

I suspect we may have been less generous if they'd just added Albion to the list to keep us out of the play-offs!
