I'm wondering, last year people against the Xfactor bought rage against the machine to try and pip the Xfactor winner to number one spot, do you think people are voting for wagner to prove the same point?

He won't make it past the next couple of weeks......he can't take his eyes off all the gorgeous girls dancing around him...his eyeballs are literally out on stalks.
I predict he will suffer a massive heart attack on stage...wonderful publicity for the show...the next show will be in his honour and the press will be flooded with ex-conquests coming forward.
FFS...he is so bad it is laughable...Walsh has only done it to stick two fingers up to Cowell...he knew the public would vote for him.
Clever,really.

Can you also settle another argument. My wife insists that they are all playing live, and I have to disagree with this because its far too polished in my opinion.

So can any of this lot play real instruments, or is it just for show. That bloke who used the guitar, was he really playing this?. And if he can really play the guitar that well, why the hell would he want to go on the xfactor?

Cheryl Cole was miming as was Michael Buble, the contestants do really sing, personally I think all the music for all the acts, is recorded.

Cole & Buble really need to learn to mime as well, Buble in particular was terrible, it annoys me when performers like that mime.

Mrs Hut was not happy about about Buble lip synching and not sing, very poor

Mrs Hut has every right to be unhappy, he was taking the piss with his poor attempt and then the muppett judges give him a standing ovation

Last year, Cheryl Cole DID sing live and it was just awful, she was out of tune, it really was terrible, I think thats why this year they have decided to let the so called "Superstars" mime, I just think it's so wrong :tantrum:

The thing with Wagner is that he can actually sing. He is an opera singer, and a good one at that. All the time they give him Ricky Martin and the Spice Girls to sing, it is clear that he is just there for a bit of fun.

Katie Perry, last week, was definitely singing live, it is not possible for any recording artist to be that shit without it being live

Also can anyone explain why Michael Buble is so popular, I'd have him down as a singer on a cruise liner yet so many people rave about him. Don't get it at all, not a bad voice but such bland songs, music, image and stage presence

Opera singer my arse.

He's a gym instructor or something like that.

Yes he is a gym instructor (and a window fitter too), but he can sing opera and he is good... I've actually heard him live with my very own, slightly oversized, ears.

But that doesn't make him an opera singer. Anyone can sing opera, I sing it in the shower, but the phrase "opera singer" implies that person is someone who sings in an opera on a professional - or semi-professional basis. Wagner is clearly not someone who meets that criterion.

but yes, i'd imagine that it's probably people doing it for a joke........he's been the poorest act each week and yet hasn't even been in the bottom 2 (or even bottom 3 in the first two weeks)

what i will say though, is that people who actually vote on programmes like x factor are, in my view, odd

Hum, well, yes.

I'm not sure that justifies that facepalm smiley though. He isn't going to fill the vacant space in the three Tenors, nevertheless, he is good. Clearly he is in the competition singing didgy Ricky Martin covers to give us something to laugh at. But he can sing very well, just not cheesy pop.

Caught some of the x factor on Saturday and couldn't believe how poor it was. Wagner? Can't believe there are enough morons out there to waste £1 on a phone call every week as a joke. Ergo they are morons who think he is good.

And what is it about that snarly misery called cher that people rave about. Flat, out of tune and no breath control. Absolutely dire.
