Sorry, just fishing a little. I was in the Spectrum v Commodore playground arguments at school, so it's fun to see there's still console gangs 30 years later.

It was Amstrad v Commodore as we all know Spectrum was rubbish

I got mine in three days using www.stockinformer.co.uk, which was recommended by a fellow NSC user (can't remember who). Mind you, you have to move fast when stock becomes available.

I caved in and bought a PS4 just before Christmas. It came with Knack (not very good although clearly aimed at kids) and I bought FIFA too - not sure how it compares to the PS3 version as I only played the demo. Of the PS+ games, Resogun is a delight and Contrast is an entertaining and short diversion.

I bought AC: Black Flag today and it's gorgeous visually. Some of the scenery and effects are just great to look at, such as the light forming a rainbow in the mist of a waterfall. A lot of fun to play too - much more than the snorefest that was AC3
