The X Factor this year is complete and utter toilet. It is by far the worst " talent " contest of any of these contests this year since the format started about 6 years ago. They have unearthed some reasonable talent from these shows, Girls Aloud who are close to perfection for a all girl pop group who have delivered hit after hit of bouncy pop and whose new album is meant to be pop heaven. Will Young has some talent and done a few good tunes, Leona Lewis is a superlative singer and hell even Shayne Ward has a decent voice.

Whether you like the style of music or not fair enough but it cannot be denied some ability has been unearthed over the last 6 years.

In the states Kelly Clarkson is a decent singer and Jennifer Hudson who started on American Idol was kicked out prematurely and went on to win an Oscar for her role in the film, Cabaret.

This year it is an embarrassment of crap. Of the lot Rhydian is by far the best contestant that is clear and the " contest " is already over. Bookies at 4/7 agree, shame I did not take the 20/1 on offer at the start. Nicki could be a resonable Hotel bar singer and Same Difference will make a living at Butlins and in panto but the rest are complete crap. Rhydian although talented is not a pop singer and I guarantee next year he will have the leading role in Phantom of the Opera, you heard it here first.

You could see more talent at the Karoake at Horatio's bar on a Sunday night.

Cowell and Co must realise what utter cack it is and just carry on the pretence , how embarrasing for all concerned.

There are plenty of non-pop artists out there who sell fuckloads. An early Charlotte Church for example. I reckon he could shift quite a few records if marketed properly and he isn't turned into a 'pop'star.

If they are the best than the worst must have been f***ing bad, the two MILFs are hardly the future of pop music, Same Difference worry me in a brother f***ing your sister way, the Jock joke can't sing and can't dance and shouldn't have got through the auditions, the only 2 worth a look are Hope and Rhydian and the only 2 who have any potential.

The whole programme is unwatchable now, I catch the occasional song and panel opinions whilst channel hopping as it seems to be repeated somewhere 7 days a week.

Simon Cowell and the rest of the panel have morphed into boring caricatures and don't get me started on that weird brother and sister act Same Difference.

1st three or four programmes which are auditions are always great entertainment but now it's just fairly poor karaoke and I've heard better walking past Spanish Bars at 2 in the morning.

Rhydian would be a good karaoke singer, and he's the best of the lot.

Someone might find him a tune or two, and make him the new Elvis - but he'll probably be a novelty act for Christmas or something, and then be forgotten about until he turns up in the news for bonking with George Michael, or some other lewd act in a toilet.

The one who does most of the singing for the girl group really should have been picked to be a single act, she's much better than the single act ladies and the rest of the group she is in lets her down... However, she's not a patch on old bleach hair Rhydian.

The programme drags on too long, almost as bad as the cricket world cup. They should just have two "finals" shows and have more people voted off each week. None of the current lot will sell many records. Hope probably have the best chance but they're a poor man's girls aloud. I'd like Nicki to win it but the only records I can see her selling are old vinyls in a car boot sale.
