"We don't need referees this bad to lose games. Anyone who can make Phil Prosser look remotely competent as a referee must be shockingly bad. That person is Andy Hall."

"Awarded Plymouth a penalty and sent off Dan harding despite being right over the other side of the pitch, rather than consulting the linesman who was right in front of the incident. The whole crowd could see it wasn't a penalty.
When Plymouth had a free kick he paced out the 10 yards to the wall, but actually took 11 or 12 large steps.
Gave Plymouth a free kick immediately as one of their players did a devastating two-footed tackle on one of ours.
Played 3 minutes injury time despite the fact that several of the Plymouth players were lying on the floor for at least that long.
Looked extremely unfit!
This is not just sour grapes as Plymouth certainly deserved the three points, but this man should never be allowed to take charge of another game."

"A very poor game from the officials tonight. As a referee myself I often take a balanced view of the game and can often see why the referee made that decision etc. However, tonight I could understand what game the Mr Hall was watching. He was poor in every department and I would have liked to be a fly on the wall when his Assessor talked him through the game. I only hope he nevers darkens this corner of Sussex again."

"What a pompous, self-important man he is! Totally whistle-happy - and making a big show of lecturing players. Also very inconsistent with time added - they had several players treated for lenghty periods of time, and consistently wasted time during the second half and we only got 2 minutes added in the first half and 3 in the second.
He also twice allowed players who had been treated for 'injuries' (from which they miraculously recovered immediately) to stay on the pitch when they could have easily been moved to the sidelines and allowed the game to continue. And then he let them join play without sending them to the sidelines after treatment.
He was often behind the game - and wasn't helped by some equally poor assistance from one of the linesman, who made several obvious blunders.
A very poor performance by a self-important and fussy little man."

"This poor referee didn't cost us (Brighton) the game-Plymouth were worthy winners. Having said that-this man is not fit to referee a professional game. In 2 games this season he has already handed out TEN cards! That can't be right?
During the game against Plymouth his decisions were ludicrous to say the least. Since when does a player receive treatment for close to three minutes without a) leaving the pitch for treatment and b) not leaving the pitch following treatment? He did this on more than one occassion-has the rule changed (serious question)? We do not pay good money to watch a referee ruining a game of football by wanting all of the attention himself-the best referees are the one who, after the game, people are asking who it was in charge. Within 5 minutes 6,000 people were only too aware that we had Hall in charge again.
A good example of his control of the game: our youngest, smallest, lightest player was the recipient of a particularly nasty challenge by a Plymouth defender-Hall's decision? Award the free kick to Plymouth and deliver a lecture to our player. How can you play with an idiot like that in charge?
The whole game was like this. His fourth official laughingly added 2 minutes of stoppage time despite there being 2 goal celebrations and 2 long stoppages for injuries and a penalty plus a sending off (we'd never have scored if they added 90 minutes to each half but that's another issue).
In conclusion I sincerely hope that the match assessor has some balls and kicks this clown off of the list. Without a doubt he was worse than Prosser last night and is easily in the top three worst referees I have ever seen. Fairness, fitness and competence are words you'd struggle to associate with Hall. I hope we never ever get this official at any of our games in the future-not even as a 'referee's assistant'. He was a disgrace."

Added mine, although I was a bit confused when asked to rate if he was consistant with his decisions as there was no option for "yes - consistantly wrong"
SOME MUPPET is trying to improve his ratings... An alleged livepool fan has given him good marks for the Brighton v Plymouth game and the Brsitol City v Torquay game... Is it Mr Hall himself
