Slow motion 1-1
Think their playing some good football, just wasn't clicking once in the box. Playing the better football by far and deserved the lucky deflection to take it over the keepers head.

Disappointing result, but we have missed Kirby badly since she got injured and seem to have no drive or organisation. Smith was a thorn in our side and I was very pleased when she went off. Shes a star of the future for sure if she stays fit.
As a team, we seem to have very few with pace and therefore don't often use the ones that we do have (i.e. Seike and Parris) well. Wish we had someone on the left who could run like Seike on the right - maybe Rule when she is fit again whenever that might be?
However if we were to get anyone in in the transfer window, defence is where I think its needed. Thorisdottir and Bersvand are good players but too slow in a league that is getting faster all the time, and Carabali is too prone to mistakes (though think own goal tonight was a bit unfortunate) especially under pressure.
And for the love of God Vidošić, please can you change the tactic of playing out from the back! We're too slow (see above) so get closed down and panic too often, and Baggerly (who is our best goalie) is not comfortable with the ball at her feet. Everyone knows that we do it and that we struggle with the press.
Bright spots this evening were McLaughlin who looks like shes settled in well, Sieke and Parris. Haley looked lively when she came on, but I think she needs regular game time if shes going to evolve more from just running around like a headless chicken.
