Wrexham - Why is it all ticket?

it could all rest on the last game of the season (again!!!!)

We need to get as many Albion fans there as possible, so why is it all ticket (which should put off a fair few hundred):shootself

We always take loads to the end of season game, and with the possibility of something resting on it, many more will want to go.

I can well understand that the local police want to make sure they don't have either too many turn up, or a couple of thousand people frigging about with their change 2 minutes before kick off. It has to be better for everyone to have tickets in advance - that way we can stay in the pub for longer in the certain knowledge that we can get in.

Well, my application's in already, anyway!

What's actually more worrying is that the club's web site says that ticket information isn't available yet. Even though it was published in the programme on Saturday.

The wonders of the internet, eh?

We'll already be in the play offs by then and we won;t be able to go up. I predict a very low turn out as people will need the cash for the play offs. simple.

Wrong! If we're already in the playoffs it will be a great day out - the first game all season where we don't really need to worry about the result, and can celebrate in style. To be honest, I'd much rather we were definitely in the play-offs - having to get a point (or three) would be a nightmare.

Wrong! If it was promotion then I'd agree with you but it isn't. It's the playoffs. That means you'll need to fork out £22 to watch the home leg, about £17 for the away leg plus travel expensise. Then if we get to Cardiff it is yet more money.

Wrexham is not a cheap away day when you have three more, more important, games ahead.

For me getting into the playoffs, although an achievement, is not something to go cRaZy about. Getting to the Final is. And as for winning it....

I missed the game on Sat, so didn't get a prog. How much are the Wrexham tickets?

They didn't know.

You have to send an open cheque or just your credit card details.

I'll go in the home end if necessary. 'Er indoors has friends and family in Wrecsam so hopefully they should be able to get us tickets. I want to be in with the Albion contingent, have applied for tickets and will hopefully do better than for Grimsby last year.

Seeing as we've had rooms booked in Wrecsam since before Christmas, match tickets would be nice...make for a better weekend that's for sure.

We'll have to agree to differ - I reckon we'll sell 2,500 easily, even if we're already certainly in the play-offs. How many did we take to Shrewsbury when we were already Div 3 champs?

That's my point. Being champs is totally different to just making the playoffs. When we were champs, games like Port Vale were an excuse to get together and party. I really can't see people feeling THAT excited just because we're in the playoffs. Not even worth buying a flag for.

I'm with Lammy on this one, who the hell wants to go to Wrexham apart from the very hardcore if it don't mean nothing. It's a expensive day out and personally everyone i know won't go unless it means something, save the dosh for the play off's and hopefully a trip to the sheepshagers's capital.

A lot of people had planned to go to this in the hope that we'd have been contesting an automatic promotion spot. I had but still plan to go anyway.

I have to say though, your comments are slightly fair weatherish, who are Manure playing that day ?

I cannot beleive what I have just read!!!
What total bollox!!

So you and everyone you know will only go and watch The Albion if the match means something?

I am sorry, but that is pathetic !!

The match does mean something!!! Its important for us as a team to maitain momentum going into the play offs.

So please don't think that this is a nothing match because it isn't.

BHA is a small part of my life i have other interests and a family and i aint particularly rich.

I choose to go to the bigger games as I work all week 12 hours a day and weekends are my only spare time. Sorry if you think thats pathetic bollox maybe you would like to explain that to my missus and my 6 year old daughter. Maybe you don't have a family life? Maybe you don't have a life beyond BHA?

SM, don't get so up tight! I think the issue is not whether YOU will go, but whether 2,500 will go. Personally I think they will. Hopefully I'll be one of them (but if I don't get a ticket I'll watch from the home end).
