With @Commander on this although I'd prefer he gets a role in the catering team as opposed to being a lounge host.

Rational decision it may have been, but what it comes down to is he backed Potter over Bloom. Fine, we all make mistakes, and I don’t hate the man for it. But if I were Tony Blooom, I certainly wouldn’t be employing a long-term unemployed Coach who had already jumped ship on me once when we have plenty of excellent coaches already out of some sort of sentiment. He made his bed, so he can lie in it. We’ve outgrown him.
That’s a different question I’m answering then.

I’m just responding to ‘Would you welcome Bruno back?’

My answer is yes, with a warm hand shake.

Presumably you never cheered Glenn Murray when he returned to the Albion?
There's no point trying to logicise supporter's whims. Many of the reactions we have are based on tribal, visceral feelings as @Justice intimates. Part of the fun can be the medieval act, baying for blood (not literally!) from the terraces and seeking a scapegoat. Supporters are often illogical, there's no changing that.

You are all very harsh.

The guy did so much for us. He followed money and an opportunity to coach at a club that at the time was showing signs of being a big European club again.

We can’t forget all that he put in. It’s not as if he joined Ned as an Academy player and we rescued his family from oblivion.

If he was the right coach for the job, then get him in.

He still lives here doesn’t he? He clearly loves the place.

Legend.

Has his reintegration started perhaps ? Interested to see on the latest ‘Albion unlocked’ video that he was mentioned having had dinner with and given Bruna Vilamala a tour of Brighton when she signed…….……….may be incidental but if not it’s quite a clever ploy to drop his name back into the fold without any fuss.
Maybe just doing the club a favour by helping welcome a fellow Catalan to the town?

Cheered the goals because they helped the club although the man himself not really no. Murray has always shown he favoured Palace fans. Marseille at home the NS sang his song and he didn’t even glance in the direction of the Albion faithful.
Did I enjoy the Pritchard episode and Potter with his motley crew return with Chelsea hell yeah.
Should hope he has at least a little love for the club seeing as he now works for us as an ambassador.

If there was the right role for him, absolutely. It doesn't have to be a coaching role.

I may be wrong but I feel like he did a lot of work on the community side of things. A role incorporating that would be great.

We do seem a little light in terms of numbers on the coaching front. (In comparison to De Zerbi’s team)

Anyone know our actual first team management setup including coaches etc..

Glenn was a quality striker in the peak of his career, who had scored 30 goals in the division that we were trying to get promoted from recently. He was exactly the kind of talent we desperately needed at the time.

If someone can explain to me why we desperately need an inexperienced coach who had one job at the club he retired from playing at, before jumping ship to do 8 months at a complete basket case of a club before getting sacked and being unemployed ever since in our amazing, world class setup now, then I’d love to hear it.
This is the sensible and correct answer. If the club genuinely feel that there is a job somewhere in our setup that he can do and that no one else reasonably can, then yes, he can come back tomorrow. We'll let bygones be bygones, and he can play his role in helping to take us forward.

As in most things I shall 100% trust the club's judgement. I'm sure they won't re-appoint him just because he was once 'el capitan'.

It must be very hard living in your head.
