Would you wear another country's colours?

Personally I wouldn't, and I don't get why people do (Brazil, 'Italia' and even Real Madrid shirts). You're English, why the need to don some other country's colours?

I can understand why foreigners wear English tops, they want to avoid getting a kicking. Unfortunately though their mullet haircuts, drainpipe jeans and matching rucksacks give them away.

Used to have an Italy shirt with Baggio on the back, but I was young and foolish at the time. Wouldn't wear another countries colours now.

I very nearly brought a Brazil blue away shirt a few years back, they were nice shirts but my English nature wouldn't let me do it, so I would say NO I wouldn't.

Hmmm... I actually have 4 foreign tops....

Brazil
Deportivo La Coruna
AS Roma
Perth Glory

I only wear the Deportivo one tho coz its blue n white striped and designed n made much better than our poor blue n white effort, dont wear any of the other 3 outdoors.

But then i am half Irish.

I dont think theres anything wrong with it as such, Ive got a Barca shirt that was a present and i like it. They are hardly a threat to the Seagulls and i obviously wouldnt wear another english teams shirt.

Those 'Brazil' and 'Italia' tops are just fashion statements now, most of the people who wear them probably dont even like football.

The thing that pissed me off was all the jocks wearing Argentina shirts during the World Cup. Your shit Scotland, get over it you sad ****s.

I bought and wore a Japan away shirt while i was over there for the world cup last year. they loved it, it makes it easy to make friends of the locals, particularly when their side is playing. Plus, it's top shirt. I won't be wearing a Portugal shirt next year thought, but I will have an Albion shirt with RUI COSTA on the back, that breaks the ice with them too. In 2000 I went to Holland for the Euros and had an Albion shirt with Van Basten on the back and got the occasional free beer for it in the bars of Amsterdam ) I probably wouldn't wear a Brazil or Italy shirt, Madrid etc, ie. the popular fashion shirts.

Tricky one for me - I'm Australian born and bred - but I now consider England my home - so depending on which home I'm in I wear that shirt....

I've been slated hugely for wearing and England shirt in a pub once up here in London, when someone realized I was actually Australian - he thought I was being arrogant.... stupid tosser....

I collect the footy shirts of countries that i visit- just as mementos.
Only the more unusual shirts though - not France/Germany etc.

And yes - i wear them occasionally.

I've got an All White shirt as I'm half Kiwi, and a Japan top cos the Mrs spends a lot of time working in Japan. The label in the Japan one says it's size 'O' which she says stands for obese

To be honest I quite like wearing shirts that are a bit different, so I'll normally where the Kiwi shirt here and an England or Albion one when I'm visiting NZ.

I would never wear a France, Germany, Argentina, Wales, Ireland or Scotland top. Apart from that, no problem with it at all.
