I'm not sure which clubs proceeded with this today, but I know Millwall, Middlesbrough, Watford and Norwich were looking at having fans in hospitality areas for HOME games watching on TV whilst the action took place a short distance away out of view.

Norwich definitely did it for their home fixture today:

Madness as in a cheap shot throw away sort of comment. Have you considered scalability? Or are you suggesting that those 100 ? fans are spread around the ground with corresponding stewards, gate attendants, catering staff, security, police, etc, etc. Not madness, just a completely different and innovative arrangement

1) H&S can be maintained, incl social distancing
2) the fans want to do it
3) it generates income for the cinema (and club?)
4) it helps protect some (cinema) jobs

1-3 can be achieved (minus the cinema) in a stadium, as Brighton showed in a pre-season friendly.
A stadium has fresh air not air conditioning.

Voted no but if it was the only option, might consider it. However, guessing the price will be more than £14.95 so it would seem odd to pay more (plus refreshments) to watch a tv which I can do so from home.
