..for complete ownership?

If someone wanted to buy the club and take complete control would you be happy with that if they said they would PUMP money in?

I, for one, have learned my lesson with Bill Archer. They way things are set up at the club presently, you can pretty much run the club with a 35-40% share, so why woulkd they need a controlling interest? Checks and balances are needed.

So, NO, I wouldn't

Depends.

Yes IF it was someone like Mandaric who had history of being involved in football clubs and not f***ing them up.

If it was a dodgy businessmen then no.

20 million for complete ownership? No way. What's a measly 20 million these days? Stick a nought on it and make it 200 million - then maybe. But it would depend on the individual and how they came to be in possession of a spare 200 mil in the first place.

Did not see this thread just said a similar thing on "Muppets Out" thread.

Mandric i believe will be that man.

He is probably one of the few i would trust after seeing what he has done with he cash at Pompey.

But if it was a stranger know way as it i still want our club to be around for years to come.

Come on how can we forget our past.

With our accumulated losses and debt it needs to be more than 20 Million to move things forward
Exactly. Most of the 20 mil would go on clearing the debts (and buying out the existing shareholders if he wanted sole ownership) and the rest on Falmer. There would be bugger all left for the team, certainly not enough to satisfy all those who would expect immediate success as 'we now have a chairman with money'.

No. Because I don't want just one person to be in charge of the club again. Ever.

What he said.

Even with the Chelski situation you would have to live with the knowledge that your club was being used to launder dirty money and I certainly do not just one person to be in charge. Ironically the more money that gets put in the less ability we, as supporters, will have to have a proper say in things.

Do we have a say now then ?

Unless of course you believe Knight when he said that he listened to us over the sacking of Mcgee.

An unequivocal yes.

An absolutely unequivocal NO, from me.

How old are you people? Have you forgotten everything we have been through?

I love somebody's effort - 'Yes' if it was someone honest, 'no' if it were a dodgy business man - like they wear a badge or something.

"Hello, here's 20 million quid. I'd like to buy your football club please"

"Give us a moment to have a think about it. Where did you get your £20 million, by the way"

"Oh, this and that - you know. Duckin and divin', bobbin' and weavin'. You know how it is"

"Right, I see. What line of business exactly?"

"Dodgy business. I'm a dodgy businessman"

"Sorry. Can't take your money then. Got any honest mates?"

I do and he did.

And we have a lot more say - or should I say influence, even if it isn't a huge amount - in the running of our club than the majority of other clubs' fans.
