ANY team in this division before Xmas (without a 20+ point difference at top which will never happen) should take that as the league is so close. If Liverpool were in this division with all their current players except Gerrard and Suarez....... they should take that option!

Boring answer as obviously want to play the games but with sensible head on I stand by that statement

Nope I don't want to know how the season is gonna pan out before we've finished it, as I want to live it, highs and lows always expecting more highs.

How dull to know we had 6th wrapped up with months of the season to go. It's the same when I know the result of a rugby match or Grand Prix, I lose interest in watching a recording. Never been in a situation where I didn't know a Brighton score before I watched a recording though.

yes.

6th would show improvement on last season, and we'd have a realistic chance in the play-offs...

but with a signing or 2 in january who knows what is possible.

Much as it pains me to say it in an extremely even division you'd have to take it, especially with a clear lack of forward partner for CMS and Vicente unlikely to play again for us this decade.

dont give a flying fcuk about what palace do and the constant need to relate everything to them is tiresome tbh. 6th place? Certainly accept that as an improvement on last season and a platform for next.

Very wise words right there. This is a fiercely competitive division and nobody said it was going to be easy to get out of. Progress is all I want to see right now, which means placing above 10th this season. 6th would do the trick very nicely.
