I dont think they would, simply for the reason is that they've both made high priced mistakes, but at the top level, you can make mistakes whereas you just dont have that ability in the lower leagues.
I'm talking about £8million for Jeffers and Van Bronkhorst, who've hardly set Highbury alight, plus Veron at £28 million and whatever they payed for that fool Forlan(8mil. i think).
at this level, make one mistake and you could well be out, I mean, thats why Coppell isnt rushing into any decisions.
but all the top managers seem to make these mistakes, Houllier(too many to mention),Bobby Robson(less than others, but does Carl Cort ring a bell), and Raineri(erm I cant think of any, but its Chelsea, there must be some!, well there will be)
