Given a stadium of comparable size?

Middlesborough could only entice 14,101 paying customers to go and watch their European game with Greek side Xanti:ohmy:

What a waste of a stadium....

Considering European Football is what these sides work for all season long it's shocking really!

Bolton didn't sell out either.

Abort, retry, fail
I am assuming that Dick Knight and Brighton will take into account the falling attendances and tickets will be cheaper than they are now, plus various schemes such as Kid a quid. Student drive etc.

Plus there might well be a wage cap and financial constraints if the FA ever pull their fingers out, by the time our stadium (all going well) is built

The premiership clubs are pricing themselves out of the market. for example Chelsea tickets this season are from £48 - £60. If you are a Chelsea season ticket holder then it can be a real struggle to pay lots of extra cash for all of the matches not covered by the season ticket.

I doubt they can afford to pay for tickets after spending thousands of season tickets.

But if they know they're playing in Europe, surely they could add some nominal amount to account for the European games.

Say £500 for the 19 league games + 1 free cup game thrown in, and an optional one-off figure of say £40 for the European games. That way, if they go further in the competition, those people that pay the levy have a bargain.
