I think i would- both unproven but both full of pace and tricks, young and with points to proove.

i for one am pretty excited about how they are gonna do this season and am sure they will suprise and irritate a few defences.

so, if MM said 'no new strikers' would u be happy?

If they score enough goals to keep us up, yes.

Molango isn't going to be the best player in the world but I have a feeling he will get goals.

I got the impression that MM wanted another striker as well as Molango and Knight, which was why he gave Kerekes a second trial.

I'm concerned that we'll be extremely light weight up front. It could work a blinder if we can adopt the right style but I fear the front two will be too small/lightweight and never win or hold onto the ball.

No, I wouldn't be happy - I'm not sure it would complement how the rest of the team play. Better for McGhee to sign a targetman than for him to sign a shedload of ball-playing midfielders and defenders who aren't out there anyway and even if they were, we couldn't afford. We need an outlet for the direct ball and neither Leon or Maheta have proved they are equipped to compete for that kind of ball.

I am sure that MM is aware of that as he has given Kerekes ample time to prove himself before fionally rejecting him. IMO MM will find the man that to do the job that he wants.

If we can get some passers in the midfield to thread the balls through to them we'll be fine, if we stick with the defensive midfield and hoofball we will struggle to get goals.

Give it a go. Knight is quality & has looked good with different partners up front.

We won't know about either of them at this level till we give it a go.

It's difficult for MM to attract players here. No ground, no decent training facilities, no money. Any players that do come & do well will be snapped up by the likes of those wankers we've got Saturday.
I am so going to let Coppell/Sidwell/Brooker have it!

if we stick with the defensive midfield and hoofball, we will get enough goals to stay up. If we play passing football, our "threaded" passes will be picked off, the ball will boomerang straight back at us and go through our "passing" midfield like a dose of salts and we will be out of most games by half-time. No thanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've seen of Jarrat he adds a whole new dimension to our attack from last season - he looks very dangerous.

If Currie can get fit, well have a couple of players who can actually cross the ball - Currie naturally a good crosser of the ball, Jarrat able hussle himself into positions to try.

I wasn't convinced at all about Currie at Stevenage, but in the second half he whipped in a ball the light of which I hadn't seen in a Brighton shirt for a while. He looked very unfit however.

Also and perhaps somebody can enlighten me, but at the start of last year we seemed to very succesfull in whipping in low crosses (and when I say low - I mean chest height) for Leon to get at with his head. At that height they seemed very difficult for defenders to deal with. We seemed to stop doing that.

Didn't he score 4 or 5 with his head in the first few games ?

I feel that McPhee could handle the target man role when fit so I'm not too worried about another striker. Would prefer to see a younger central midfielder in the Yeates mould who will run at defences.

Don't think Mcghee is happy about the prospective partnership. He says they are too similar and we still need a target man to play with one of them
