Benteke perhaps, Guzan maybe. Vlaar over El-Abd? Debatable.

But generally speaking, not a chance. So many average Championship standard players in that team... Total fodder.

I rate Weimann. I think he'd make a great addition. If Villa come down and we go up I'd quite like to see us go in for him, unless Gus has got someone better lined up.

Lowton the full back looks promising

Delph is a good shout. Weimann is hilariously overrated. Lowton is ok, but he is longer term. No question why they are struggling so badly.

Man City should be seriously concerned by only winning 1-0, last season they would have won that 4/5-0.

I'd take Ciaran Clark any day.

Typical Irish mentality!

How the hell has Villas manager Paul Lambert, kept his job  they are shocking to watch!!! absolutly no idea whatsoever.....they will be playing Championship football next season unless they do something positive................exactly what at this stage of the season, I don't really know!

In your opinion maybe, in mine he is a liability who should have been sent off at the end not just booked! anyone who screams what he clearly did at the Ref was seriously lucky to stay on the pitch

3 points are 3 points

Anybody questioning this thread, players in the Premier League are not automatically better. You get that, right?

Did you watch Villa tonight? Seriously, only Benteke and Delph are better than Ulloa and Hammond as direct comparisons. Seriously, who would prefer Bennett to Bridge? Clark to Upson? Westwood to Bridcutt?!
