Need to take out some important people for lunch in Worthing tomorrow. Problem is usual haunts like the Parsonage, Room 4 Living etc are not open on a Monday. Any suggestions? (Other than the obvious "go to Brighton" answers! Has to be within Worthing or North of Worthing as they are returning to London afterwards.

There's a lime green restaurant called er... Liming.

(I haven't actually been there but it looks pretty cool). It's in Worthing's 'West End'.

Alternatively, the chip shop by the Aquarena has had a refurb and is apparently one of the best around.

There is a very good Nepalese resturant in Rowlands Rd, forgotten the name, Do not go to Brighton unless you want a dose of the shits, get in there son.

It is about 100yds down on the right from the Half Brick(seafront) just before the shops and nowhere near what was once the bad area of Worthing. I think the road that it joins is Church Walk.

Why not try Shoreham..........relatively easy to park near the restaurants, and after, just 2 minutes to get onto the A27 and A23 to London. If they,re travelling by train, all trains stop at Shoreham.

Sylvan Oak and Trenchers (now Room 4 Living) both closed on a Monday.

Not sure about Findon Manor?

Another favourite for a lot of client entertaining is Indigo which is in the Ardington Hotel. They run the Worthing Business Club in there so it's popular with local business people and gives a good impression if you are aiming to impress

Is that Indian Restaurant in Storrington still open? The one with the open kitchen.

You could try one of the better hotels in Worthing.
