Spurs @ The Lane 77/78 season. Scared shitless (but I was only 12). Seem to recall a load of Millwall turning up in the Brighton end to have a pop at the spurs shelf boys.

Me and a few mates got taken out of the Brighton end and moved to a safer part of the ground. My older brother managed to get hold of a copper and asked where I'd been taken, and the copper said I'd probably been nicked!
went there in the league one year got there too late and ended up being invited into the main stand by a spurs geezer ended up standing in with their mob felt uncomfortable but it was ok another spurs lad gave me a lift back to tube station that was a strange day

Luton town centre, early 80's

Luton during the 70's was a bit hairy. It all seemed to stem from the game in Feb 1970 when Brighton fans smashed up the social club and attacked Malcolm Mcdonald's car. Thereafter the Luton boys were constantly looking for revenge.
