***World's Hardest Creature VII, 2014 Group A***

Here we go!

Group A of 2014's WHC tournament. Ten combatants are ready to fight there way out of what could well be this years group of death. The top 3 will go through to the knock outs. The 4th placed competitor could qualify for the wild card....if he garners enough votes.

Take your time to think carefully who to vote for. Your vote could be the difference between death or glory...

So, lets meet the combatants(apparently I can only post five pictures....so you'll have to google what they look like...:

ORCA

The Orca is a two time finalist, winning the title in 2011.

IMMORTAL JELLYFISH

The Immortl Jellyfish has no real history in the competition. It offers little in aggression or physical threat but it is the only competitor with the ability to live forever.

URSID BEAR

The hybrid Grizzly/Polar bear is making its debut in the competition. Not much is known about them except they mix the qualities of three time champion the Polar bear along with the best qualities of the fearsome Grizzly bear.

GREAT WHITE SHARK

The star of Jaws has not yet had the success that its fearsome reputation deserves. It gets through the groups but then falters in the knock outs. Is this the year that it finally leaves a serious mark on the ttle race?

CAPE BUFFALO

The powerful Cape Buffalo is part of Africa's big five. This powerful beast will go head to head with anything if it feels threatened...including lions and crocs.

PERENTIE GOANNA

This native of Australia can grow to 2.5metres in length and possesses a venomous bite, razor shar teeth and a powerful, destructive tail.

MANTIS SHRIMP

Making its debut is this bad boy of the sea. It's a mystery how he's not been nominated before as despite being only a foot long the mantis shrimp possesses a terrifying array of weaponry. It can spear, club or dismember its prey. Its claws attack so fast they create shock waves that stun their prey into submission as well as flashes of light and temperatures of 1,500kelvins. This newbie could go deep into this competition.

KOMODO DRAGON

The Komodo has a solid fan base that wil need to expand if its to make a dent at the sharp end of this tournament. This ancient, giant lizard dominates its eco system. Its bite is full of bacteria that rapidly infects the wound and ensures a slow, painful death for its victim

CHIMPANZEE

These close relatives of humans might lack our intelligence but make up for it with aggression, happy to ambush and kill other chimps for fun

CROWN-OF-THORNS STARFISH

This carnivorous sea creature has a physical as well as chemical defense, there sharp spines pierce their would be attackers while the chemical coatings brings a whole new level of pain to the unfortunate predator

Jelly fish are fine, I think. It is the portuguese man of war that was the problem. Jelly fish are single multicellular organisms.

They aren't hard in anyway whatsoever though. They maybe 'tough', but that isn't hard. Hard is the ability to go after another creature that could easily cause serious injury. Jelly fish mighy be immotal because of a genetic reproduction thingy, but they ain't hard by a long shot.
