The sea horse has to be in there, one of the most dangerous creatures in the sea, deceivingly small but a great stalker and ruthless killer.

It's easy to be hard if you have the size/weaponry to back it up.

Would love to see a 'less obvious' winner this year like the Shrew, Grasshopper Mouse or Honey Badger. Here's to hoping!

We have two separate crocodiles nominated. In previous years I think we've just had the crocodile as one beast. I don't remember having two crocs in the competition. I can't even remember which one -if either, it could have been a generic croc- that won last year. What does NSC want to do? Have two croc entries or just the one generic croc entry?

It was the salt water crocodile that won last year. A much nastier beast than the African or Nile croc.

nile croc 7 metres of scale and muscle and 1 meter of tooth lined gob....respect...!!

basically the same animal...:thumbsup:

salty = estuarine ie fresh + sea......freshy = fresh water only , much smaller.

I'm not sure there's value in having Nile and Saltwater crocs as separate competitors, unless someone can state a clear point of difference between the two.

That field looks EXCELLENT by the way. Loads of actual hardness.

i reckon the Rhino could be a dark horse.
