Dwarf hamster, specifically Smudge who is owned and cared for by Youngest Potting.

Favourite hobby for Smudge, apart from sleeping and eating, is clambering on the roof bars of of her house - in human terms that is like me trying to undertake this over a 30' drop onto a hard floor with a covering of wood shavings. Although Smudge is quite good at this she does fall off freqeuently, straight down onto the house floor below. She immediately gets up, clambers back on to the roof bars and carries on.

Hard or what?
