Never thought I'd see the day, a current Albion player getting an assist in a world cup final...

Doesn't seem real. Easy to forget Ali Mac is only 23. Could be our first genuinely world class player.

Possibly the young player of the tournament?
I think Caicedo has just as much to give. Mental innit?

If they can look beyond Messi (unlikely, I know...), Ali Mac might just be on for MOTM.

Either way, he'll definitely get it on the BBC Sport vote. ;)

Great, now means Ali Mac will definitely be off this summer at the latest

Argentina play Ali Mac in a more advanced role. I wonder if RDZ will change his position from alongside Caicedo?

Dunno but the guy he turned into a central midfielder is currently winning the World Cup.
The Albion spent a very long time bringing Macca to these shores. Like all the best recent Albion things, Potter brought very little to the table. As Chelsea now realise too late. Meh, Arctic Benny is no longer our problem

This isn't much of a spectacle so far. Where are the French? Hopefully they'll be here for the second half to turn it into a match.
