About two weeks ago just before the squad was announced for the world cup i go the odds of 16/1 wayne rooney to be englands top goal scorer im dont think he will be but with those odds i put £5 i looked at what they are today and they have gone right down to 5/1



Anyone else got any good odds on the world cup ??

I'm thinking of selling France quite big on Betfair. They are in utter disarray behind the scenes. The manager has fallen out with several players, isn't talking to the press, and the doctor has just said he won't be giving injury updates during the tournament because it "would be breaking the patient's confidentiality". Paranoia gone mad.

1/2 odds for 1st & 2nd. Still a long shot of course, but I fancy them to be the suprise of the tournament, and with a bit of luck a place in the final could be possible.

8/1 on South Korea winning a group containing France, Switzerland and Togo looked like a good bet to me when I had a quick look at some of the odds around earlier.
