South Africa to finish without any points - 9/1.

Definitely the weakest ever World Cup host nation.

France, Mexico and Uruguay should all have way too much for them.

I think SA will get a point somewhere along the line with the home crowd behind them. Possibly against a weak French side????

Well, it's 9/2 for them to get the one point, so could always have a little saver on that as well.

France and Argentina will go out early with clowns in Raymond Domenach and Diego Maradona as managers. Serbia look massive value at 10/3 (maybe 4's somewhere) to win Group D. Holland will have a good tournament (around 12/1 e-w).

I can see there were a few winners amongst our bets. :clap2:

Rather more losers though: the real winners, as ever, are the bookies. I will now have a month free of betting after a world cup with just one winning bet! But already looking at Albion to win at Swindon.....

Glad to see it went well for some people. It was a ruddy disaster for me, I lost a monkey give or take over the whole tournament. The better half is going to kill me when she sees our bank statement.

Whilst on the subject of betting/bookies, anyone been for a spin on the Roulette Machines lately???

:unclesam:

Yes, most days for me fella.

Just wished they installed them in Harvesters then I'd be well happy.

:wanker:

I had a tenner on the Dutch to win. Bit gutting but at least I laid off my stake with a mate who had Spain.
