OK so the Japanese have been roundly trounced by the Italians but today should see a real classic

its INDIAN VS BRITISH

Just so you know, however much Curry has become a part of our diet here it is in the end, an Indian dish. Got that?

Bring on the dishes

British have done extraordinarily well to get to this stage, armed with only a cuisine of bangers & mash, fish n chips, toad in the hole, haggis and fried mars bars.

I can't see them going too much further in this competition though, especially given this tough draw. Then again, if Palace can get to the Premiership, who knows?

I voted Indian myself because it's GREAT.

not forgetting ham sandwiches, cheese and pineapple on a stick, prawn cocktail, liver and onions & bread and butter pudding...

BUT, what about pork pies, stilton cheese, roast beef, stew and dumplings, scones and clotted cream...?

mmm... british gets my vote!

Top of the table.

I voted British - although I'm not sure if I recognise British cuisine as a real team. English yes. Scottish yes.

Maybe the best of British is the real regional stuff - like Cornish pasties.
