I Don't Exercise
As above, today is World Cerebral Palsy Day.
I sometimes help in the EC(Exceptional Children) classroom where I teach at, and we have a couple kids with CP in there. Great kids and today I bought them both their own huge cheesecake slices(They love cheesecake lol). Just wanted to highlight what an important day this is. I think most people understand how prevalent this disease is, especially in children. But for those that do not, here are some facts:
-CP is the most common motor disability in childhood
-Every 1,000th child born around the world has CP, or some form of it.
-High rates for those children born premature.
Anyone know a child affected with CP? Just curious.
