I bought an advent calender from Woolies yesterday..........all the windows were boarded up and there was f*** all inside !!
The thread title is more funny than the joke...good effort though yeah.
Definition of an optimism - someone who asks for Woolworth gift vouchers for Christmas.
I wnto wollworths today advertising 50% off. The sale was crap, most things were only 10% or 30%.
That's because, if you read the posters and POS properly, it says UP TO 50% off. Classic example of people reading what they think they see rather than what's actually there.
No I know it said upto. But my point is I saw NOTHING for 50% .
There was quite a few lines at less 50% when i went in the Worthing store on Saturday.
Guess that all went first and the 10% tat is left?
Oh maybe.
It was mostly 10% and a few 30%. Absolutely nothing worth buying.

We got there early and it was absolutely MENTAL.
Never again she can go by herself.
Who could seriously give a tinkers f*** about woolies. it has been shite for years. It deserves to close down.
Well, I suppose the people who work there might not be entirely indifferent?
Debenhams is next. And if I were you, I wouldn't be storing up the WH Smith gift vouchers eitherWho could seriously give a tinkers f*** about woolies. it has been shite for years. It deserves to close down.
