What part of Woodingdean? I live almost dead on the top of Falmer Road (by Bexhill Road) so i am pretty much just walking that part.

It's about 2.0 miles from the Downs Hotel.

I noticed that the Downs are doing their own 'park and ride'. Does anyone know how much they are charging?

The bus works out well & goes Cowley Drive/Bexhill Road. Apparently they run every 10-15 minutes & the journey is just over 5 minutes from the Amex to the Cowley Drive shops.

May try the walk at some point but would think it'd take over an hour from Cowley Drive shops. Travel vouchers make the bus very affordable.

Must be an amazing walk though on a nice day, seeing the stadium come into view. And downhill. Could always get the bus back (up the hill!).

The City Council has spent millions on dopey cycle lanes in the city - if they now spent a fraction of that on a cycle track from Woodingdean to the stadium they really would be doing something for sustainability.

The road can be a bit dodgy in places for walkers.

I know a couple from Woodingdean who have won tickets to go on Sat. can they pay cash on the bus?
