Bronze has nearly been caught out a few times before that, hope she’s not trying too hard because it’s Spain, great finish though

Ref blocked Bronze in the build up to that...

Thought that was the case real time but not after seeing it back. 😒

Spanish look a better side here.

Not much being offered by England going forward

We're causing our own problems. Obviously nervous but bad decisions all over the pitch.

Need half time

She had to hold the ball longer because the player to her left didn't make the run into space!
She had to pass it to someone, not just keep running into trouble. That's not to say that her teammates couldn't have tried to fill the space she left. Oh well, first loser isn't bad.

I don't know much, but I'd go to a 4-5-1 here. They can't allow them so much control in the middle of the park

England have just lost the middle of the park, Toone just been anonymous again.

Spain have been excellent since the goal, but again, a goal from our own mistake again.

Hemp and Russo have shown the Spanish defence is suspect, there's plenty there to suggest we can get back into it.

Not sure if James is the answer though. She's got the tricks, but will she put in the effort. Dunno. Tough decision from Wiegman.

Earps looks furious… let’s hope for a reaction in the 2nd half.
Not surprised really. We certainly haven't played well. We seem to be off the pace. In that I actually mean effort to cover areas, too many are jogging around and not sprinting. Really surprised.

Penalty drama - tick
Head bandaged defender plays on - tick

In my experience everything is pointing to an equaliser and a penalty shoot out.
