...is this Saturday apparently.

I could look up why the Final is being played at this time of year but I'd rather come on here and post about it all perplexed.

I mean, WTF, a Final at the beginning of August?!?

(Anyone else having a big get together - lads, BBQ, beers and the big match?)

The FA Women's Super League season is played in summer, starting in April I think. So presumably it's linked to that.

The Woman's FA Cup normally runs on a roughly similar time line to the Men's game with qualifying starting in September and the final in late May. This year the final was delayed to allow for the World Cup (the semi finals were played back in May). It does seem strange that it's still ran to the traditional winter time table when the WSL runs from March to October, although the women's Premier League runs a winter time table but sits below the WSL on the football pyramid.

Being perplexed hardly worth the mention, I thought that was the minimum requirement needed to post on here? :)

Is the game shown on TV ? ( just to qualify as suitably perplexed)
