£39 a ticket in the North Middle tier.
Where can i find the ticket exchange? I know it's a stupid question but currently mid essay!

Nowhere until normal tickets have sold out, they are currently selling NW Middle tier

So in a nut shell, can we currently get more than 28500 in the ground?

Not until we get permission to have the capacity higher, perhaps next season?

Thanks for that, a previous poster earlier had said the Exchange was now active, I couldn't find it either, I guess you've answered the question. Why do people write things down that they don't actually know about?

Blackpool accepted 1000 tix but only 907 fans attended so 93 seats remained unsold.
The Albion ticket office would not have known that until close of business on Friday.

To my knowledge tickets were available for Albion fans regardless of what tickets Blackpool had sold.

Maybe, but we are not allowed to say? If the capacity was 30,500 for Blackpool, I could not see 2000 empty seats.

What on earth does that mean? There were plenty of empty seats visible, quite a few dotted around the East and obviously the buffer zone next to the away fans. Even gaps in the North stand!

Firstly, as Barber has previously advised, the capacity is currently only 28500. So until the capacity is officially confirmed there will be 2000 empty seats somewhere in the stadium. A large chunk of those are obviously next to the away fans as a buffer but the rest seem to be all over the place. Presumably people who buy on ad hoc basis are opting to buy in the new areas rather than the original areas, hence the gaps.

As the buffer zone is smaller for Wolves (we have sold 6 columns in the eastern half of S1G now) and the shelf (North stand Middle) is also being sold, I am fairly confident the club have either, and are extremely confident they will get permission for the increased capacity.

I guess it will be telling if the ticket exchange kicks in once all are sold, as there are always going to be be 5% minimum no show (1100), so along with the sterile area, I guess the club is confident they can sell all the tickets (once) and creep below 28500 bums on seats.

There are two conditions on the stadium's planning permission, available on the council's planning pages, which currently restrict use of full capacity.

The first condition restricts it to 28,500 (think it's actually a few seats less then that) full stop for this Season.

The second condition restricts the Stadium to 28,500 (think it's actually a few seats less then that) until a point where a permanent transport solution to the temporary Bennett's field car park is found.

The club can apply to remove these conditions but any planning application wont be determined for a minimum of 8 weeks, so there is no chance they'll be relaxed for this season.

However, nobody at the Council is going to rock up to the stadium wearing a flourescent bib should the Club exceed the maximum capacity for the last 2 games of the season. The Council would have to be convinced any action would be justified and in the pubilc interest which clearly would be quite difficult to do since in reality there have been very few transport issues at the Stadium.

Also remember the club resports tickets sold so if 29,500 tickets are sold in reality only 28,500 are in the Stadium especialy since the Wolves game is 12:45 KO.

How there's not been a pretty bad prang around the eastbound off ramp at Falmer is amazing. The filter lane is always blocked and often the inside lane too with idiots trying to force their way in. Even the outside lane can be temporarily stationary or crawling

Thanks for this.

Bozza did say on this thread that a solution is iminient and Insider indicated on ATC that they are doing all they can, should we make the play-offs.

I was told something which in turn turned out to be a load of bollocks - friend asked the ticket office yesterday about it and they were told it was sold out, not told that the newer 1901 tier seats were going on general sale - i suspect even they will sell out before the weekend. Either way its going to be activated, its just when.

It may not be activated if we don't get permission to have more than 28500 in the ground - It may do, it just may not.

FYI: these will not be newer 1901 seats. Next season these will be for school parties. Mad if you ask me as they are premium seats!

Meh, its in the 1901 tier so its 1901 quality view, which is pretty good - whoever gets a seat up there is very lucky !!

And it would only be replacing seats that have been already sold as STHs - the club cant assume 1,000 arent going to turn up anyway.

Concur with this, empty seats all over the place from where I was sitting.

Looking at where the tickets are being sold I think somehow the club have got permission to sell every available seat so I wouldn't be surprised to see our first 30k at the Amex next week.
