all this rubbish to go to a game of football, you couldn't make it up could you, the games NEVER going to sell out, why not POTG? , someone wanting to keep tabs on who's attending games ?

With apologies, I completely misunderstood your post (incipient paranoia). I thought you meant why don't I POTG (and by default, stop mithering). I was very near posting in a Huff :ffsparr:

You are absolutely spot on. There is no reason why we shouldn't be able to rock up on the day and POTG. This is not the 1970s.

Incidentally, I recall from posts past you don't ever (or haven't ever) go/gone to the AMEX. Has that changed yet? You must have a compelling reason to deny yourself a bit of Following The Albion. Just asking.

I'm certain this has been binfested over before, but even if five people decide not to go because there's no POTG, that's £140 lost for them.

Seeing as they're printing off tickets for a list of people, I'm sure it's within their power to sell and print. If it's about turnstile staff they should warn visitors to buy at the ticket office.

God I'm dull

The only thing I can think of is that Brighton caused trouble at Wolves a few years ago, but does that warrant an all ticket game? However its not as if we would "do a Leeds or Chelsea" from the 80's/90's and take 6,000 - 10,000 (unless its a massive game or last game of the season like Port Vale / Palace / Pompey a few years ago.). Brighton given the travelling, and really being mainly a "locals club" without fans around the country, have a decent away support, but today, with pay on the day and a decent start to the season, it would be somewhere between 2000 to 4000. Will Wolves have room, yes. Financially a poor decision and it just annoys people. Its the wrong attitude from Wolves.

Has anyone got a ticket going spare

Or

Does anyone know if we'll be able to buy an away ticket at the ticket office up there tomorrow? (I know it says sold out but I'd imagine they won't turn down my dollar, hopefully without making me dance with Wolves)

Do do you still require a ticket?

Well, I only live 30 mins from Molinieux and was planning on playing the last game of cricket for the season. Opposition have conceded so I thought I'd pop along to take in my first game of the season.

Oh well ... maybe next year ..... clearly Wolves are not in need of my cash !

Would love to know if clubs think they make more from tickets purchased in advance and then a no-show, or spontaneous POTG. Probably weather dependent? Whatever, their loss ....
