Must reserve judgement until we've seen how the game turns out of course, but on first reaction, it does feel like a team picked with other priorities in mind, even allowing for the injuries. I'll be delighted if he proves me wrong, of course, but Peupion couldn't get in a Cheltenham team that went ten games without a goal, still less a win, in League One. But he starts at Wolves in the fifth round of the Cup?
A few weeks after Peupion joined Cheltenham, they changed their manager, and the new manager only wanted experienced players to steady the ship, no young players thank you very much!
So quite rightly the club pulled him back from a useless loan. Surprised we didn't find him another loan though. Good luck to him tonight.
