When we finally leave how will you remember withdean? For the success of the titles and the play-off win or the sadness and frustration of it holding our club back for 15 or so years

Way out west
...a rocket to celebrate a goal, the stand shaking when everyone stamped their feet, watching women doing aerobics in the sports club...how is that for starters?

Oh, and being the only club in the country where the stand went on holiday in the summer...just like the fans!

The trees. At least they have some beauty.

For me the success of the titles was always over-shadowed by the nagging sense that we could only go so far until we got a stadium. I remember feeling a massive anti climax as they paraded the League 2 trophy around Withdean - thinking how different it would be if we had a proper stadium and 15k-20k people to see the celebrations.

Weirdly enough I always think back to a game I missed, Rochdale at home on a Friday night. It was the first game I ever missed at Withdean because we went to see Blur at the Brighton Centre. Having had a decent enough night and seeing everyone soaked through back at the Station after losing 4-3 made me realise just how bad it all was and was the beginning of the end for me!

That and Chesterfield at home.

Play off semi final will be my biggest memory, unless something spectacular happens next season.

The theatre of trees and J&H block not seeing the sun for 6 months of the season

The crowd making so much noise and it just being lost with the lack of a roof

Same. That was one HELL of an evening. A flood of biblical proportions, Virgo bringing us back from the dead, wondrous penalty drama. Truly MAGICAL scenes at the end. Only time I've ever gone on the pitch and kissed a goalpost

Cannot recall the team we were playing, but it was a Tuesday night game and it had been raining all day. In the pub before hand there was talk of the game being called off. But the rain stopped enough for the ref to give it the go ahead. No sooner had he done that and it started raining again.

We were 3 down in about 15 - 20 minutes and I was soaked to the skin. Some people were even leaving the ground. We went on to lose 4-3. It is games like that I will remember.

Of course the play-off semi will always be the best feeling.
