Nope, matchdays arn't just about withdean but about beers with the lads.

If I had no mates then I might not bother

no f***ing chance i am going to that shithole this season.

I only went to Man City at home and the last game v stockport last season and unless anything as exciting as those 2 come up again at home this season i will stay well f***ing away.

f***ing glory hunter.

I will attend matches in any stadium because as a fan it is my duty to support my team & ultimately if everyone had your mentality we would no longer be here.:nono:

I will try and attend my usual 3 to 4 home games this season, most likely against former Premier League giants Norwich, Charlton and Southampton.

Maybe you should change your name to "Brighton when it suits me"?

I make it to very few Withdean games, but try to get to a fair few away games to make up for this. I am in Sussex for the start of the season, so will be at the Walsall game (girlfriend permitting - she refuses to sit through the rain). I will also be at another game in August/Sept as I need to come back to Sussex to have some non-urgent work done to the car - I don't trust the garages up in the Midlands after the last one f**ked up my brakes!

TBH I'm in the same boat. Will do a handful of homegames this season. 23 quid vs someone like Man City = worth it but still expensive. Say against Hereford or something, its a rip off really isnt it, every other week. I Understand the club need to charge that but not everyone is die hard, and "hardcore" fans can get tickets for pretty much any game really anyway. Withdean is a 'hole and people like myself just wont pay the money week in week out at these times, at least there is light at the end of the tunnel finally

Its not though really is it. some people have to be more selective with their games for reasons other than football like family, money, so I cant see a problem with people picking the big games as the ones they choose to watch and spend their hard earned on
