My own opinion would be you're almost always better off making friends with your local independent wine merchant and taking some recommendations from them.

Many have formal wine club-type schemes, others will deliver to you on a more casual kind of basis, depending on your budget, tastes and drinking capacity ...

It's good to support independents, especially with another lockdown coming. Although technically they are allowed to open, for many the space is quite small and delivering to customers is the most viable option.

Don't be taken in by the big discounts you'll see for some of the national wine clubs with huge marketing budgets.

Laithwaites is good value. Usually 50% off first box - but make sure you don't forget to cancel the ongoing subscription. And I think the quality of the wine drops off after the first two mixed boxes.

Go for box one and then cancel.

You do not talk about whine club.
The second rule of whine club is: You do not talk about whine club.

Wrong. First rule of whine club is that the first rule is rubbish. Second rule is Ryan is too small.

Who needs a wine club?

Just take a transit to the Holmush and fill it.
