Well done Brett and the other lads in the squad who have helped with this. Please keep your donations coming for the team guys - really appreciated by us all. We are aware many have just coughed up to REMF for the marathon as well so your support is really appreciated!

The draw will be made at midday on Fri 11th May.

Is there going to be the usual "on the night" raffle as well?

Is so can someone please set up a mic in the club house....you can only yell a number so many times before the voice goes

Big al....get it sorted

Can we maybe do the raffle draw at half time?

Getting a separate PA system in the clubhouse is a logistical nightmare. So...

The draw will be made towards the end of the first half, and numbers attached to the winning prizes in the club house. You can call the numbers out from the list of winning tickets we'll provide you - about a dozen in total. People can then go and claim their prize from half-time onwards.

There are two separate raffles going on. Mendoza's £5 a ticket jobby will be finished before the evening starts. The evening raffle will need tickets to be sold to people who are at the Dripping Pan. A draw "towards the end of the first half" will only work if there has been some intensive selling of tickets during the early part of the evening. Can this be assured? It's usually the case that allowing longer to sell tickets ensures more money is raised.

The other thing that needs to be ensured is that BOTH raffles have a decent selection of prizes.

Gully's Girls - as in previous years - go round each part of the ground (where there are people are, obviously) 'intensively' selling tickets.

Half a dozen of them can do that within an hour.

Gareth - don't panic, we've been doing all this. Most of the current albion squad have also retweeted bits and bobs which has def helped the just giving donations. Work colleagues / friends of some have already donated and the squad are all chipping in to do what they can :)

Mendoza,

Down the years, you must have raised as much on your own as everyone else put together, and lets be honest, the vast majority of the money raised on this justgiving page will once again be down to your raffle prize snaffling efforts. Hat well and truly doffed. How on earth do you do it?

Finally, could you just arrange to keel over in the 89th minute of the match? We need to get total donations up to the ONE MILLION mark. :lolol:

Ha thank you sir, I like to do my bit! As for doing a Squires, I'm not planning it just yet, got a couple more charity projects in the pipeline! apologies to everyone for that x
