Wilson-Denis impresses for Brighton

Brighton trialist Carl Wilson-Denis will get another chance to impress after a promising display in the 5-1 friendly win at Arundel.
The 20-year-old striker hit the woodwork twice as the Seagulls cruised to victory thanks to goals from Shaun Wilkinson, John Piercy, Gary Hart and Chris McPhee's brace.

"He did well," assistant manager Bob Booker said. "He has only been training with us for a couple of weeks so this was his first run out in an Albion shirt.

"He is a young lad and he hit the post and bar and created a lot of chances. He has met the lads now and he is someone we have picked up along the way through one of (manager) Steve Coppell's contacts.

"I don't know when a decision will be made on him. We will just look at the situation over the next couple of weeks of pre-season - that's the only way we can have a good look at him," Booker told the Evening Argus.

Wilson-Denis seems likely to get another opportunity to prove himself in Brighton's friendly against Crawley on Saturday
