I know loads of Palace fans who are who are lovely people. None of them dress themselves in black pyjamas and pretend to be 'ultras'. I'm not talking about all, or even most, of their perfectly sensible and long suffering supporters, I'm talking about one particular group of Tottenham Palace fans who are more about their own egos than their team's success.
Tbh I would also pick my own ego over absolutely nothing.

They are so utterly pathetic. They carry their high-headed entitlement with them wherever they go. Humourless, opinionated and deluded.

I have a few Palace supporting mates (having been born behind enemy lines) who are decent and realistic…normal football fans in other words. But these self-styles Ultras are all that’s wrong with modern football. They won’t take a moral stance on their new owners, other to write an open letter to them (which will be ignored and forgotten as soon as the cheque book comes out).

Bang the f***ing drum again, you total morons.

(And relax).
Yes, I have known many decent Palace supporters.

The one I am in contact with a lot thinks the spotty yoof are embarrassing.

But anyway....at the end of the evening, who cares?

As with City, Chelsea, Newcastle etc and now Palace, sure there are the people who'd say "f*** this shit" and never go again. Those people are going to be in overwhelming minority to the people who want to watch their favorite club boosted with hundreds of millions of players.

IF the Albion were taken over by for example the Saudis, I’ve always said there’d be a very minority changing of the fanbase guard. 5 to 10% of Amex regulars at most would end up stopping going citing moral reasons.

Instantly replaced by newbies and joining the other 90+ % who’d salivate at potential trophies. In this self anointed virtuous neck of the woods.

People in general can be hypocrites.

I know loads of Palace fans, lovely people. To a man they still don't like us and still think they are a bigger club than us.
They all think our bubble will burst very soon.
They have a point. It’s inevitable that the club with a modern stadium, state of the art training ground and robust, talented back room staff with fully functioning youth academy and scouting network will ultimately fall behind the club playing in a building site with a training ground which probably has dog turds on it.

I think you’re right. There’s plenty of us on this forum who would walk. I’d walk, go back to basics and start again with Lewes BUT we would be in the minority. There would be plenty of people wanting to buy the seats we vacate. Sad but true.

I don't know any Palace fans,I've been told they all have big crooked noses and a hairy wart the size of a thruppence on their chins,
I bet they'd all turn in to newts if you said Abracadabra 3 times at them, and who knows the new stand may magically appear as well.

Respect from me, thought the Saudi banner was fantastic, while BHA fans just tittered behind their keyboards about how smug Edward Howe 'apparently' is.

There's nothing wrong with the banner, I also thought it was good. However as pointed out earlier in the thread, they have a habit of flipping once things start looking better for themselves. Let's see if they make a similar banner if a similar takeover occurs shall we?
