Why do people expect an appointment to have been made yet???

As a club we have rarely ever made quick appointments and I for one wasn't expecting anyone to be named until close to the start of the World Cup (which I suspect will now probably be about the time we see an appointment).

I know we all want to know who will be taking over (and yes signings to start being made) but the club historically always does this. I'm not surprised at all in the delay.

With all the excuses being made last season for the 'lack of pre season', caused by OG's late appointment, I would of hoped we might have learnt something.

It's about time we adopted a jazz rock improv style. Not ever having a manager will allow us to fulfil this dream and experience the intensity of joy.

The club doesn't need managing in the summer silly. Nothing, NOTHING, happens then so we can save our money. You only need a manager when the remaining players turn up for their star jumps - because there is another Burke to look after signing exciting non-league ne-er-do-wells and cheap average football league journeymen who are always so "thrilled to be signing for a premier league ready club".

I think I voted no they won't.

I have a very reliable source that tell's me that the new manager is going to be announced sometime between now and the beginning of the season. If he's wrong, then I'll say they won't

Exactly, totally agree. I'm shocked with the delay. While we sit scratching out heads offering pony wages to potential managers I'm sure our other championship competitors are thinking of placing bids on players. Poor show.

We can only but dream!

Just hoping whoever we eventually get can hit the ground running, and be able to sign players that they want, that can make a side challenging for the play-offs in 2014/15 :albion2:

Not a CAT's chance in hell.

There simply isn't anyone out there who will do the job for 46p an hour.
