This got me thinking, with the club adimant that it wants to be in the Championship by Falmer, and with next season being our last at the Withdean, is it unrealistic to expect a surge in season ticket sales?

With STH getting first dibs in Falmer n' all.......

Doubt it. They will want to get more fans in, not less.

Last season at Withdean - Bloom should SLASH prices all round the ground, try and get the place full every week, so (assuming we are in this league next season) we have a 12th man to try and get us promoted.

I agree.

I think that there will be an increase in STH's on the basis it will get you a preference for a ST at Falmer the following season.

A 12th man like you who moans about the only stand that get's behind the team? Very hypocritical if you ask me.

Only if!

I can see more people getting a season ticket though, with the added perk of being able to go round Falmer early to pick their seats and it being the last season at Withdean.

I agree. I know there will plenty of seats available at Falmer..............but it will be nice to have first dibs on where you want to sit.

More like five thousandth din. I'm praying there's an area for people who want to leave after the final whistle.

I don't.

There's hardly going to be a shortage of seats at Falmer, after all.

Choosing where you sit will be important , I wouldn't want to be surrounded by the semi comatosed bobble hat and thermos flask brigade :falmer: . As sometimes I like to go :yahoo:

What's hypocritical?

1) I've attended all the games at Withdean so far this season and have yet to give a penny to the club in ticket sales, so suggesting a price reduction might be a good thing is, as far as I can see, common sense. But it would rely on Bloom being prepared to make am even bigger loss on next season's Revenue - although his position in the football rich list suggests he could afford to. After all, the inflated Withdean prices have been justified by the fact that they "keep the club afloat". In theory, that is less of an issue now.

2) I've suggested that the singers would be better off GETTING BEHIND THE team rather than singing shit, like Withdean used to in the early days. What's the harm in that?

Thing is though, how will you know which area is going to suit you to sit in?

The result of a yet to be held NSC poll will give an indication of that :). After which the club will announce the preferred area where all the boring old farts will be seated.
