At least one person will take a peek and stick around to see if there's anything going on here, if there's not I'll turn out the light and shut the door to keep the place warm until everyone gets back

The crucial word in your question is 'seems'. As with all of these things there will be many who have said they are going, and even stated what train they will be on (after they have found out from someone else what time they go) who will be posting on here at 1511 tomorrow.

Should yopu wish to make a list of names, you will probably see the same people posting tomorrow evening at 1502 saying that the tseward was a nasty man because he stood in my way.

Unless some yet undiscovered tribe of fairies ups and whooshes me off to a place where I can get a few moments sanity, whilst tidying this mess of a house, complete with 2 mile high pile of washing and ironing - I'll be there with you!!

Thats unless Arthur succeeds in dismantling the house with the screwdriver Zef just gave him - thinking it would be "educational" oh my days....:nono:

Isn't there a children's book about a boy who gets a screwdriver and starts undoing everything and then once he has undone every single screw gets to the one holding the world together? Seem to remember it being a classic up there with the Lighthouse Keeper's lunch.

If not, carry on.

Cool!! Actually no on thinking I best not find it - although it could replace the restoration manual of Ford Cortinas that my husband thinks Arthur should be reading - well advanced for a 14 month old - NOT!!

On a train...
I'm not going as we're going to New York on Monday and money is a bit tight.

Am I a bad fan? Am I not going to be welcomed as an Uberfan?

What always warms me to you Tubby is that you are as cynical as I am, which is no mean feat.

Beware though, of modern technology. I will be at the game, but with my handy handheld Blackberry thing, could still post at 15.11 if I was desperately sad enough to do so!

I may announce the score of the supporters' match at some point, if I can be arsed.

I will be here!

Couldn't care less about Doncaster if I tried.

Paddy and children have gone to Torquay today for the football and Romilly and I are looking forward to a peaceful girly weekend at home.
