I was thinking the same thing but for Wycombe, guessing he will be named this week so should mean we take quite a few more, lets hope so anyway!! Especially if it is someone good

Obviously they will want the right man, but after last time with hinshelwood i think they'll want to appoint someone sharpish, and would have already had a shortlist et all drawn up. Would expect something this week, so hopefully a few more people pop along to Wycombe saturday as im going anyway so more the merrier. Who knows, a good result saturday and a few more may think about scum away?

If its Wise, all the more reason to stay away. the Saints fans will be WETTING themselves laughing, if we turn up with that violent, poisonous little TOAD in charge.

Correct. If you think morale is low now, just wait until he's 3 or 4 games into his tenure. That one is a disaster waiting to happen.

Definately goinig to Southampton if I can get away on time, will have to leave as late as 12.51 from Brighton though. Someones bought me a ticket, so it'd be rude not to!

As for Wycombe, I'll be there of course. Who is in charge doesn't really make a difference as to whether I attend, but I can understand those of you who will attend the first few games under new management, whereas you wouldn't have more, just to get a look in!

Do you think we'll be able to find someone by then? I think it might take a little longer, people will be sceptical of coming here, with our recent record, it can only be looked on as a temporary job, so you're only going to get those who are desparate for a job wanting it.

I'd say that we will definately get someone in by Southampton, no doubt. The fact that the bookies are offering odds of 6/4 for Coppell just a day after Slade was sacked tells me that we are making fast strides forwards. As US said, if Coppell isn't the man, why would the bookies be offering high odds for the other guy to come in. They must have Coppell at 6/4 for a reason, and even if he ends up declining, it indicates that we are looking to get somebody in sharpish.

I'm going for Thursday.

I forgot Wycombe! Doh.

On tays point I actually think the opposite. It's a GREAT month to take charge. Were nit expectedto win any, so the new GAFF can only EXCEED expectations

I shall be at both irrespective of whether we have a new manager in place but that said im hoping its before Saturday. Hinslewood doest fill me with much confidence after the shambles of 2002-2003. I would imagine Bloom has already made enquiries prior to the sacking of Slade and i fully expect an announcement made by Thursday at the latest. Ive got a serious hunch that its Coppell. I always felt he would return at some stage

I have to agree. Its quite obvious that Bloom is waiting for the "cooling off period" before announcing the new gaffer. I wouldnt be suprised if It was a done deal before the HArtlepool game. Slade woould have got the boot even if we beat Hartlepool.

IMO

Taking all of the above into account, SKY Sports and a few glasses of Magners sounds inviting "n'est-ce pas".
