Maybe he was pissed off about a transfer fee being agreed with Bournemouth, and has taken that as an indication that his future lies elsewhere. Just a guess, but that was my reading of it at the time.

i think Poyet signed Hoskins and made him a peripheral part of the side before loaning him out to Sheffield United all as part of a plan. The plan was punish him for making our defenders look like mugs by getting two cracking goals for Bristol Rovers against us last season. Poyet doesn't forget these things.

Him and Harley were very close and used to go out all the time clubbing etc... Gus didn't like it and wanted to split them up. Wish he'd sent Harley away though!

he will be here next season....FACT, Gus wanted a Target man, and with Barnes doing everything gus wants, including giving gus those special rub downs after training, hoskins isnt a target man, so might aswell loan him out, get some playing time and start from scratch next year....i also said on here that LUA LUA will hit some major form now he has signed permanantly.....Hoskins will bang em in next year
