Can't understand the logic of dropping him over Paynter or Barnes. Would hope he must have had a little knock or not been fully fit for whatever reason otherwise I'd have had him on the bench at least.

dont matter
It was mentioned on BBC SCR after the Derby match, that he was spotted with his leg strapped up, i thought it strange it wasnt mentioned in build up to the Forest game.

Mixed messages, Naylor said 6 weeks but in Gus's post match interview when asked about Harley and Hoskins he just said "a few short term niggles" owtte. Inclined to believe Naylor though...

Saw him up at Derby last week and have to say i was really dissapointed. Yes i know he has been out injured, and he also took a knock on his knee late on in the game, but just didnt look anything like the player i thougt he would

I honestly belive that Hoskins has just been plain unlucky and im not usually so understanding lol....His injury record shows no suggestion that he is a sicknote. I think it's just one of those things...Wrap the lad up in cotton wool, get him spot on, because I for one think he and Cms up front will be electric...Send Paynter back in Jan, get another proven championship/prem striker in on loan and watch Hoskins have a big impact in the last third of the season. Let's be honest, by and large we have got where we are without him so far. If he had been fit, I think we would be another half a dozen points better off, than we are.And we are all happy with where we are,,,,arnt we???

Hmmm...thats a bit below the belt.

At least Hoskins is desperate to play and not hanging out in the bookies

I know it was a bit harsh. I'm just frustrated as much as he is. I've been waiting all season for Hoskins and CMS to be pair upfront together....and we get Barndoor Billy and CMS instead.
I thought you were referring to Steve Claridge?! Hanging out in The Bookies!

No, lived in Cambridge for a bit where Claridge was a legend and the locals used to say he would sleep in the car aoutside the bookies and the ground, do training, bookies, sleep...

Feel for players with niggling injuries as the poor fellas with big long term breaks and strains like Dicker, El Abd and Elphick get no stick. I think you are right in that we get so frustrated if we could get Buckley, Hoskins and Vicente fit the squad would be awsome.

A few seasons back, Claridge played a couple of games for Worthing. The signing was seen as a bit of a coup at the time. The fact that the Chairman & Manager at the time were both rails bookmakers & the reason Claridge turned out for Worthing was to repay in kind, some 'turf accounting monies owed' is of course, nothing more than conjecture?!
