Yer tbh I don't really know what he means I think it means if the club were to accept a bid he wouldnt go but again I don't think that's up to him ?

Would take his comments with a pinch of salt to be honest.

Read it more as saying there is no reason for him to actively agitate for a move. Which is refreshing as he will no doubt have been aware of Sunderland interest. Good, professional attitude. Well done Will.

But if the club accepted a bid for him from a Premier League team I would expect him to go - and I wouldn't blame him.

Well he can turn down the terms, but it's difficult to understand why he would reject what would likely be a doubling or trebling of his wages
